Camper & Nicholsons Port Louis Marina were delighted to host the young French team from the 11m Camper & Nicholsons 1968 yacht ZIA.
Element Terre Sail is an association promoting a simpler, more economical and more environmentally friendly way of life. Their 3 year sailing adventure is funded by donations and crew onboard are volunteers.

By introducing as many people as possible to the do-it-yourself initiatives and alternative lifestyles discovered in communities during stopovers around the Atlantic through podcast series, web series, and multiple and varied posts.

By sharing a more responsible navigation with the members of the association on the ZIA sailboat (Low-Tech, manufacture of hygiene/cosmetic products, etc.)

By raising awareness among the youngest about the rational use of plastic and its reuse through meetings during workshops in the classrooms and visits to the sailboat.

By leading do-it-yourself workshops for all audiences in our partner premises (Les Cabanes Urbaines, Un Bol d’Air, La fabuleuse cantine, etc.) and soon in the ZIA sailboat and our various stopovers.
Representing the association “Element Terre Sail” from La Rochelle origins, the team of 5 hosted an informative workshop on how to make environmentally friendly products we use in everyday life; it was a very hands on experience and well attended by enthusiastic Port Louis Marina guests and a couple of the marina team.
